Villas at Longneck Manor
An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, come stay with us in one of our luxury villas with panoramic views of the rolling hills and pastures, rock kopje, and gorgeous water features from a private viewing deck. Each villa has giant floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the giraffe and rhino pasture while our animals explore and relax in their outdoor pastures. Enjoy exclusive, hands-on animal interactions while learning about Longneck Manor’s dedicated conservation efforts and how you too can make a difference for animals in the wild!
Guests of the Villas at Longneck Manor will enjoy animal encounters from 9:00-11:00am each morning, and again from 3:30-4:30pm each afternoon. Offering question and answer, educational opportunities to meet, feed and interact with all our animals. Villa Guests will be assigned an Animal Care specialist for the duration of their stay and enjoy painting with our giraffes and skin prints with the rhinos during these scheduled encounters.
The Twiga Villa and the Okapi Villa each offer a one-bedroom, one-bath, featuring a King bed and Queen pull-out sofa. Each villa provides accommodation for up to 4 guests.
The Simba Villa and Kifaru Villa each offer two bedrooms, one featuring a King bed and the other, two Queens, as well as two full bathrooms. Each two-bedroom villa provides accommodation for up to 6 guests.
We have a Family Friendly Villa!
Our Kifaru Villa is family-friendly and can accommodate children of all ages, up to 6 guests.
- Check In time is 3pm.
- Upon your arrival at Longneck Manor, please park in Villa Parking and check in at the Karibu Welcome Center Reception for your door code.
- Please join us at 3:30 each day (Weather permitting) on the Karibu Welcome Center Deck to offer an end of day Toast to Our Tower and watch our Giraffe Parade as the animals shift inside.
- Main Gates close at 5pm. If arriving after 5pm please call 830-362-8752 to make late arrival arrangements.
- Guests must be aged 9 or older with the exception of Kifaru Villa which accommodates children of all ages.
- 2-night minimum reservation
- No outside visitors or pets
- You will be asked to sign a waiver upon your arrival
- Only the guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight. Exchanging guests during your stay is not permitted.

The Giraffe Suite and Kifaru Family Villa allow children of all ages. The other Villas, Simba, Twiga and Okapi, require all guests to be over the age of 9yrs.
Animal encounters are offered every morning (including your check out day) from 9am-11am as well as each afternoon from 3:30-4:30.The rest of the time you’re free to go into Fredericksburg and explore the surrounding Hill Country or relax on one of our outdoor decks and enjoy watching the animals!
A continental breakfast basket is dropped off at your Villa/Suite the first morning of your stay. We do not have a resturant on property. Fredericksburg is 15 mins from LNM, however, and offers three grocery stores as well as over 30 restaurants to choose from. You’re free to bring food back or enjoy your meals in town.
Yes! You’ll be given a gate remote at check in and can come and go as you please.

We have the ability to conduct our animal encounters inside our 10,000 sq ft barn during inclement weather.
Yes, absolutely! When your driver arrives, we’ll let them in and tell them where to meet you.
Austin is approximately 1.5 hours from LNM and San Antonio is 1 hour, 15 mins.
We are happy to help arrange pick up and drop off with local car service but do not provide this service in-house.
No, we do not have RV hook ups nor allow boondocking on property.
