Reed Gardner

Director of Operations

Reed Gardner

Reed was born and raised near Houston.  His passion for wildlife developed at an early age, exploring the forests and bayous around his home.  After attending Texas State University, Reed accepted a position managing over 1,500 animals at a private zoological facility near San Antonio, Texas.  During his five-year tenure he refined his animal husbandry and people management skills.  He oversaw a successful breeding program for threatened and endangered species of African hoofed stock, giraffe, primates and avian species.  He is now at a stage in his career where he wants to make a difference in the  conservation of the species in the wild.  Reed resides in the Texas Hill Country with his yellow lab JW.
