We are adding a naturalistic African waterhole with large boulders to the four-acre giraffe and rhino pasture. It will look like the real thing but have a gently sloping, nonslip, concrete bottom. Designed by artist, Mark Van Wickler, only a few people in the country can create such natural-looking rocks and trees. The large boulders are colored to look exactly like the reddish stones found in the Hill Country.
