Longneck Manor’s animal encounters are unique, personal experiences that leave lasting memories. Each 75-minute tour includes up-close encounters with our resident giraffes and rhinos, the chance to visit our state-of-the-art indoor animal care facilities and engaging conversation with our animal care specialists. During the experience, guests can provide snacks for the animals, pose for photos, and ask questions.

Animal care specialists will share information about our animals, as well as the plight of giraffes and rhinos in the wild, and discuss the work Longneck Manor does in support of global conservation efforts.

Conservation Ambassador are $95 per person. Tours are limited to up to 12 people and take place daily at 11 a.m. during the week, and at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on weekends. Reservations are required.

A unique luxurious overnight accommodation (inside the giraffe barn) for up to 4 people. You will enjoy a 1,200 sq. ft. suite with living room, kitchen and master bedroom on the second level of our state-of-art 10,000 sq. ft. giraffe barn.

Guests of the Giraffe Suite will enjoy private animal encounters from 9:00-11:00 am each morning, and again from 3:30-5:00pm each afternoon. Offering question and answer, educational opportunities to meet, feed and interact with all our animals. Giraffe Suite Guests will be assigned an Animal Care specialist for the duration of their stay and enjoy private painting with our giraffes and skin prints with the rhinos during these scheduled encounters. Weather and staff permitting, Guests may also participate in training sessions and mudding with the rhinos.

An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, come stay with us in one of our luxury villas with panoramic views of the rolling hills and pastures, rock kopje, and gorgeous water features. Each villa has giant floor-to-ceilings windows overlooking the giraffe and rhino pasture while our animals explore and relax in their outdoor pastures. Each Villa has a private deck and comfortable chairs to enjoy uninterrupted views of our African waterhole with the giraffes and rhinos all day long.

Guests of the Villas at Longneck Manor will enjoy animal encounters from 9:00-11:00am each morning, and again from 3:30-4:30pm each afternoon. Offering question and answer, educational opportunities to meet, feed and interact with all our animals. Villa Guests will be assigned an Animal Care specialist for the duration of their stay and enjoy painting with our giraffes and skin prints with the rhinos during these scheduled encounters.
